"We set out to expose 6 of the wildly talented, young singer/songwriters around the country and came up with Acoustic Earth. It just so happened that each of the artists is female, but I think all of them serve up something completely different on this album. This album represents the merging of alternative and acoustic music in the world today; and is the result of long sessions in the studio for each of these artists.
